Here Comes Wedding Season, Start Preparing Now!

It won’t be long now until the wedding season arrives and if you don’t want to be rushing around at the last minute, you might want to start your preparations early. We all love wedding season, although it can be a costly affair for those with lots of weddings invitations for the same year. One of the great things about weddings is that you generally get a lot of notice so that you can plan out your preparations to make it easier when the big day arrives.

1.Scheduling hairdressers

You will probably need to schedule your hair appointments by working backwards from the wedding date(s). If you don’t schedule well then you are either going to end up without a fresh haircut and style for the main event or you are going to have to pay for two appointments that are closer together than you would normally book. It also means that you won’t have to run around trying to book an appointment or needing to go to a new hairdresser because yours is fully booked.

2. Accommodation arrangements

The earlier you book your accommodation, the better chance you have of getting a good hotel deal and staying at the most convenient place in relation to the venue location. The last thing you want is to end up at a hotel miles from the wedding venue and is difficult to get to or to spend a small fortune on taxi fares! So get looking at the available accommodation and get it booked before the other guests beat you to the best deals!

3. Getting trim

Everybody wants to be looking their best at weddings because there are going to be so many photographs being taken throughout the day and evening. So if you are the type of person who puts on weight over winter and then tries to lose weight for the summer, make sure that your fitness plan is scheduled to finish before the big day if you are worried about not looking your best. Leaving it to the last minute can end up with the need to buy a new outfit if you haven’t been as successful as you had planned to!

4. Gift shopping

If you want to give gifts that are sentimental and personal then you need to get your thinking hat on early. There are loads of great online shops that provide beautiful, customised gifts for the happy couple but you will need to order well in advance. So if you want to show that you made a real effort and get gifts that will be treasured, start thinking about the gifts months in advance.

5. Outfit and accessories

Don’t leave it until the last minute to think about your outfit and accessories; you should be looking as soon as possible. If you are attending as a couple, you can match your jewellery style with Tateossian luxury cufflinks, stunning bracelets and beautiful earrings etc. It always helps to have a backup outfit ready, just in case of any unexpected problems and make sure that your shoes are going to be comfortable enough to enjoy the day.

If the wedding is taking place in the UK then you will probably want to take a coat and umbrella with you because we know that British summer can be very unpredictable! And talking about the weather, you might want to think about alternative (windproof) hairstyles just in case the wind picks up for any outdoors photos!
